Our parties give customers exclusive use of the gym with a coach for a 1 hour. This includes a combination of structured activities, games and challenges and free play on all the equipment. Followed by exclusive access to our upstairs party room area for 30 minutes. These parties must also be supervised by the parents/guardians at all times which means both inside the gym and upstairs where you are responsible for providing the food, drinks and decorations, as well as tidying up afterwards.

PARTY GUESTS

  • All children attending parties must be of current school age (in reception or above). If you have any guests who will be younger this must be by prior arrangement before booking, please email admin@penkethgymnastics.co.uk
  • Standard booking is for 16 children to attend including the birthday child and any siblings. You may be able to add up to 8 additional children at a cost of £5 per child, by prior arrangement before booking, please email admin@penkethgymnastics.co.uk prior to booking.
  • We will require full names, date of birth, an emergency contact and photo permission (optional) for each guest before the party. A party register will be emailed to you to complete. (Also downloadable at the bottom of this page)
  • Any children who’s parent/guardian do not stay at the party are the responsibility of the party host and not Penketh Gymnastics Club.
  • We need to know about medical conditions and behavioural problems in advance, especially if their parent is leaving them at the party. Please fill anything we need to know about on the party register.
  • No gymnastics experience is required. Most of the party will be games and free play, so swinging, climbing, balancing etc.

WHEN YOU ARRIVE

  • You can arrive 30 minutes before the party time to set up the party room (the family hosting). Please ring the doorbell for access.
  • You will be emailed a door code for party guests which will be active from 1pm-2.30pm on the day of the party only. Children under 5 must be accompanied by an adult who is responsible for the child during the party.
  • We do not have the facility for you to bring external entertainers.
  • Due to safety reasons you can not bring your own electrical equipment.

WHAT TO BRING

  • Food & Drinks, including plates, cups, napkins etc.
  • Decorations if you would like to decorate the party room.
  • Cake, candles and matches/lighter to light candles.
  • We have small knives but you may need to bring your own if a cake cutting is needed.
  • We have a small fridge if you want to store anything while the children are doing gymnastics
  • We will provide bin bags for rubbish. We appreciate you tidying up any litter at the end and tie the bin bags. We will hoover and wipe everything down afterwards so you don’t need to do this.

WHAT TO WEAR

Please ensure that party guests are wearing appropriate gymnastics attire. We will provide you with an image you can share with parents for info.

  • Leggings/shorts and t-shirt are ideal
  • Skirts/dresses/tights are not suitable and zips/buckles/buttons can dig in or damage equipment.
  • Long hair must be tied up.
  • Shoes and socks must be removed when in the gym.
  • Jewellery, watches, and fit bits cannot be worn.

INSIDE THE GYM

  • There must be no food or drink taken onto the gym floor/by equipment. Drinks can be kept in the waiting area if needed during the gym session.

TIMINGS

  • It’s important that timings are stuck to. If you do not agree with these timings please do not book this party. Timings for parties are fixed.
  • The party is from 13.00pm until 14.30pm.
  • You can arrive at 12.30pm to set up and need to be away by 14.40. If necessary you are welcome to set up for the after party upstairs during the hour session downstairs, provided an a least one adult is available to remain with the party downstairs.
  • You have 1 hour in the gym. You will not be permitted back into the gym after the hour slot.
  • All the children in your party must be supervised by you and your adult guests.
  • You have 30 minutes to invite guests upstairs to have food/drink etc. We suggest 30 minutes is adequate time to eat and drink which leaves 10 minutes to organise the children to depart before 14.40. If you stay longer than your allotted time Penketh Gymnastics Club reserve the right to charge you a fee of £50 for each additional 30 minutes.
  • You and your guests must be ready to leave at your allocated time as we have other events and classes to consider.

PAYMENT

  • A £50 deposit is charged to secure the booking.
  • Total cost of the party is £150.
  • The remaining balance will be charged 1 week prior to the event, via the direct debit set up at the time of booking. If you wish to pay the remainder by bank transfer instead please let us know at the time of booking.
  • Additional children, up to a total maximum of 24 may be bookable at a cost of £5 per child. If needed this must be pre arranged PRIOR to booking and paying the deposit.
  • £50 deposit is non-refundable.
  • Cancellation up to 8 days prior will incur no further charges. Cancellation within 7 days of the event full payment is still required.
