Club Welfare Officer & Parent Representative
In Elizabeth’s own words; ‘I have always loved to watch gymnastics on the TV and I have very vivid memories of watching Svetlana Khorkina on the beam and being mesmerised! Unfortunately it was not a sport that I was able to take part in myself. When my own children showed an interest in gymnastics I jumped at the chance to become involved in the sport too and found a love of gymnastics judging as well as being able to use my experience at work to support the club as welfare officer. I am passionate that gymnastics is a sport that should be accessible for all as it give those that take part in it so much more than just the ability to perform amazing skills. It builds confidence, resilience and life long friendships. My favourite gymnasts are Max Whitlock and James Hall and I have been lucky enough to meet them both!’
