Team Spirit Shines at Paul Reay Teams Comp

Last weekend, Penketh Gymnastics Club had the honour of participating in the Paul Reay Teams competition, marking our return to team events after several years. We were thrilled to have three teams competing: Zinc A, Zinc B, and Tin. Each gymnast brought their best, performing with precision and pride, and received compliments from the judges on their clean, well-executed routines.

While we may not have taken home any medals this time, the true highlight of the day was the incredible team spirit and sportsmanship shown by everyone involved. Our cheering squad brought banners and #TeamPenketh posters, filling the venue with supportive energy and Penketh pride. Both the judges and the commentators took notice of our unity and enthusiasm, making it clear that our club’s spirit is as strong as ever.

This competition was a reminder of what makes Penketh Gymnastics Club special—our dedication, camaraderie, and love for the sport.
