❄️✨ Winter Wonderland Magic: A Festive Weekend of Gymnastics! ✨❄️
Last weekend, Team Penketh had the pleasure of taking part in the annual #WinterWonderland competition hosted by The Wire Gymnastics Club. It was a fantastic three days, filled with festive fun, beautiful routines, and that extra sprinkle of magic that only this time of year can bring!
We proudly took 11 gymnasts to compete across Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. For some, this marked their very first time competing outside of our in-house competitions, and they truly shone! Our gymnasts performed with neat routines, strong vaults, and, most importantly, a great sense of fun and determination.
A special shoutout to:
- Phoebe, who secured 3rd place on floor 🥉
- Elsa, who achieved an impressive 4th place overall 🌟
While medals were few, the joy and pride we felt watching all of our gymnasts give it their all were priceless. Their sportsmanship, dedication, and positivity were clear for all to see, making us incredibly proud as coaches and supporters.
Adding to the magic was the legendary snow machine, a much-loved feature of the Winter Wonderland competition. It’s safe to say that it brought plenty of smiles and festive cheer to gymnasts and spectators alike. ❄️
A big thank you to The Wire Gymnastics Club for hosting such a wonderfully festive and fun event. Your hard work and attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed, and we’re already looking forward to next year’s edition!
