‘Paris comes to Penketh’ competition

Our annual club competition for all levels is taking place on the weekend of 20/21 April. Booking is now open and entries close on 17th March. We will not be able to accept any late entries so please make sure you get your child’s entry in as soon as you can. You can enter via LoveAdmin, in ‘courses’ if using the app, ‘payments’ if using a web browser and ‘extras’ if using a mobile browser. Our squad gymnasts are competing on Saturday 20th April. Sunday 21st is for our recreational gymnasts and some of our squad gymnasts who want to try a floor routine to music. Please ask if you aren’t sure which level your child will be doing. Routines and videos will be available on our Facebook Group soon. We will try to get exact times and numbers out to you by the end of March.

Grades competitions

Well done to our gymnasts who took part in grades in February. We had 3 gymnasts achieve ‘working above’ in their grade (Hattie, Ella and Betty) and 3 achieve working beyond (Abi, Abigail and Ava). Well done girls, we are very proud of you all for the hard work and dedication involved. There are some pictures on the Facebook group now. Sophie, Violet and Jess took part in the Wire’s Teddies and Tiaras competition on 25th February. This is to prepare them for the NW competition at the end of March. They did really well, all receiving a bar award. In addition, Jess also got awards for beam, floor, vault and range and conditioning. Violet also won the beam artistry award for the round and awards on vault and range and conditioning.

GymFusion

Our fantastic GymFusion team took part in GymFusion NW at The Lowry on 18th February. They did a fantastic job. The video and pictures on on our Facebook group. Well done to the girls and thank you to Nic, Anya and Sophia who prepared them and supported them on the day.
